Founded in the 5th year of the Tenmei era; purchased a sake brewing license and commenced production.
1977
In the 52nd year of the Showa era, Juhachi Zakari Shuzo Co., Ltd. was established.
1984
From the 59th year of the Showa era, began production of the shochu "Setokko", including the oak-cask-aged shochu "Tokijiro".
2012
In 2012, a new toji (master brewer) took over.
