Ce junmai utilise du riz Hinohikari poli à 60 % et est brassé par Soukou Shuzo à Oita, seule brasserie de sake de la ville. La brasserie, qui a remporté des prix notamment la médaille d'or au U.S. National Sake Appraisal pour son tokubetsu junmai Souju, utilise la levure active de Kumamoto dans toute sa gamme de rices pures.
