沿革

1. 1990Declining nationwide sake consumption forced the brewery to suspend production.
2. 1995Daisuke Komatsu, the eldest son who had been working in Tokyo, quit his job and returned home determined to revive the brewery.
3. 1997Preparations for resuming production began, including cleaning the brewery.
4. 1998Production resumed after an 8-year hiatus, brewing 80 koku of sake and 20 koku of shochu; the daiginjo Manrei brewed that first year won an award at the Fukuoka Regional Taxation Bureau's sake competition.
5. 2005Began selling plum-based liqueurs 'Momoko' and 'Sumomo Umeshu' made with local plums.
6. 2012Began producing mirin using glutinous rice from Saga Prefecture.
