Sasamidori is the brand of Yagawa Shuzo, a small regional brewery in Tokushima Prefecture's Miyoshi city, where the brand name pays homage to both the lush bamboo grass growing on the hills behind the kura and the traditional poetic word for sake. Distributed almost exclusively within the local community, the style is described as a light, dry, refreshing sake with minimal aroma and a clean finish, reminiscent of the crisp Niigata style.
