Seko Shuzo, established in 1868 in Koka City, Shiga Prefecture, operates in the birthplace of the Iga-ryu ninja tradition and draws its brewing water from an underground stream fed by the Suzuka mountains. The brewery commits entirely to junmai-grade sake, using no added distilled alcohol, and prioritizes locally grown rice from the Koka region around Lake Biwa. Ryoryokukako is one of the brands produced by this small, regionally focused brewery alongside its well-known Ninja series.
