Otokoisshin is a label produced by Bunbuku Shuzo, a brewery founded in 1825 (Bunsei 8) in Tatebayashi, Gunma Prefecture, where the local tanuki folklore of Bunbuku Chagama gives the brewery its name. Production follows an all-handmade approach using spring water from the Akagi mountain system, with rice washing and every stage carried out by hand, yielding sake with a rich, full character and a clean finish suited to food pairing.
