Naritareisui

Naritareisui is produced by Takizawa Honten, a brewery founded in 1872 along the road to Narita-san Shinsho-ji Temple in Narita City, Chiba Prefecture, after the founder reportedly received a divine message to brew at the site of a sacred granite torii gate. The brewery's underground well water gained widespread renown for its purity and reported healing properties, drawing visitors who collected it and lending it the name Narita sacred water. This spiritually charged water became the foundation of the brewery's main brand Chomeisen, meaning long-life spring, brewed with slightly alkaline medium-hard water that is notably rare in Japanese sake production.
