Musubiyui is produced by Yuuki Shuzo in Yuki City, Ibaraki Prefecture, a brewery tracing its origins to 1594 during the Azuchi-Momoyama period. Brewer and toji Michiko Urasato launched the brand with the intention of connecting people, sake, and the local community of Yuki, which is also known for its traditional Yuki-tsumugi silk weaving. The brand earned a GOLD medal at the 2018 SAKE COMPETITION in the junmai daiginjo category.
