Minamitaiheiyo is brewed by Kisuki Shuzo in Unnan City, Shimane Prefecture, the region traditionally associated with the origin of sake in Japan, where the legend of Yamata-no-orochi and the first sake-offering is said to have taken place. The brewery uses local rice and clean natural water from the surrounding area, combining centuries of regional heritage with careful attention to both traditional technique and modern quality standards. Kisuki Shuzo is recognized by the Shimane Prefecture Sake Brewers Association as one of the prefecture's representative producers.
