Sake Brand
Kujinoyama
Founded in 1603, Nemoto Shuzo in Hitachiomiya, Ibaraki Prefecture, is one of the oldest sake breweries in the prefecture, built on three pillars: pure water from the Oku-Kuji region, high-quality sake rice, and master brewers trained in the Nanbu tradition. The Kujinoyama brand has earned international recognition, with a daiginjo winning the IWC Trophy, and the brewery later launched the Kamimaru brand after the 2011 earthquake as a symbol of reconstruction. Over four centuries of continuous brewing have produced a style balancing transparency and soft, harmonious flavor.
