Homarekokko

Homarekokko, whose name carries the founder's wish that our country be honored and shine brightly, has been produced by Tsuchida Shuzo in Kawaba Village, Gunma Prefecture, since 1907. The brewery holds the distinction of being the only Kanto brewery to have received the pre-war National Sake Competition's highest honor award for consistent medal performance. Since 2019, all production has shifted entirely to the kimoto method, using only rice, koji, and natural lactic acid bacteria with no additives beyond koji mold and a single approved yeast strain.
