Chojazakari is produced by Niigata Meijo in Ojiya, Niigata Prefecture, a brewery recognized for consistent technical excellence and regular award wins at liquor competitions. The brand is characterized by elegant aroma and a crisp, refined dry taste, with a cedar barrel version that pairs the sake's sharpness with the fresh scent of Japanese cedar. The label features a revival of the iconic bearded mascot Choji-san, originally known from television commercials of the 1990s.
