Chitosezakari

Founded in 1872 in Kazuno City, Akita Prefecture, a region recognized as the birthplace of kiritanpo hot pot, Chitosezakari Shuzo named its brand with a wish for a thousand years of abundance. Located in one of Akita's coldest districts, the brewery practices the prefecture's slow low-temperature fermentation tradition using snowmelt-filtered spring water from the Shirasu plateau, and National Sake Competition Champion Kōichi Kudo produces a signature blended sake each year.
