Amatsushinriki

Amatsushinriki is brewed by Nishioka-Kawamura Shuzo, established in 1869 in a valley near the Echizen Kaga Kaigan Quasi-National Park in Fukui Prefecture, about 13 kilometers from the city and close to the Sea of Japan. The brewery draws snowmelt groundwater from 15 meters below its rice-producing region of Shimizu-cho, combining locally grown rice with that slow-filtered water to craft its sake.
