Esta cultivar rara, desenvolvida regionalmente, reflete o investimento contínuo de Hiroshima no desenvolvimento de variedades de arroz próprias para sake, adaptadas ao ambiente de produção com água suave, e a classificação junmai daiginjo permite que o caráter singular deste arroz experimental se expresse plenamente.
