Este shochu 100% cevada é produzido com a variedade local de trigo Toyo no Hoshi, de Oita, cultivada especialmente para shochu, e destilado sob pressão normal. Em comparação com o Mugi Shochu Nikaido, tem um aroma mais perfumado e um sabor mais rico. Quando misturado com água fria ou quente, o doce aroma perfumado se torna ainda mais atraente.
