O objetivo era produzir sake com arroz, agua e pessoas da Ilha de Noseijin, tornando-se uma cervejaria voltada para a comunidade local. Esse sonho foi plenamente realizado com 100 pedras de producao. Apos um terremoto que destruiu completamente o armazem, a cervejaria pensou em encerrar as atividades, mas com o incentivo de todos e o apoio recebido, decidiu construir um novo armazem. Com a meta de buscar qualidade ainda maior, introduziu equipamentos modernos e retomou a producao de sake. O armazem e novo e a confianca e grande. Venha apreciar o sake especial produzido em Wajima.

Founded in the first year of the Meiji era (the site notes the Nakashima family lineage dates back over 350 years to the Kanbun era, though the exact start of sake brewing is unknown; Meiji 1 was adopted based on a surviving brewing report).
1997
Awarded the gold prize at the Kanazawa Regional Taxation Bureau's new sake tasting competition (fiscal year Heisei 9, awarded April Heisei 10).
2003
Awarded the gold prize at the National New Sake Tasting Competition (fiscal year Heisei 15, awarded May Heisei 16).
2004
Received an honorable mention at the National New Sake Tasting Competition (fiscal year Heisei 16, awarded May Heisei 17).
2005
Received an honorable mention at the Kanazawa Regional Taxation Bureau's new sake tasting competition (fiscal year Heisei 17, awarded April Heisei 18).
2006
Won the excellence award (gold prize) at the Kanazawa Regional Taxation Bureau's new sake tasting competition (fiscal year Heisei 18, awarded April Heisei 19).
2007
The brewery was entirely destroyed by an earthquake (fiscal year Heisei 19); the brewery was unable to enter the competition that year while under reconstruction.
2015
The brewery's toji (master brewer) joined the Noto Toji Guild (from Heisei 27).
