Description
Wakamidori Gogaku Hiyaoroshi is an autumn seasonal release from Iiyama Shuzo named after Gogaku, a reference to five mountain peaks that characterize the dramatic alpine landscape surrounding Iiyama. As a hiyaoroshi, it is pasteurized only once in spring and aged through summer before being released in autumn without a second heat treatment. The extended cellar aging under Nagano's cold conditions rounds out the sake's texture and deepens its flavor.
