Description

On December 15, 2016, a Japan-Russia summit meeting took place, and the venue was the prestigious traditional hot spring inn "Daitanisou" in Nagato City. The sake that was consumed during this meeting was "Ichiban Matsumoto." Produced by Sumikawa Sake Brewery, located in Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, this sake is a junmai daiginjo made from Yamada Nishiki rice polished to 40%. It is an elegant sake that beautifully balances the flavor of the rice with a clear acidity.

Fruity and mellow. Elegant after taste. Had it at Soba noodle restaurant in Ueno Tokyo area called “TOWA”.
