Oumijima takes its name from Oumi Island (Aoshima), a scenic island off the coast of Yamaguchi Prefecture in western Honshu. Produced by Kosakishuzou, this sake reflects the maritime character of the Yamaguchi region, where the proximity to the sea has historically shaped local brewing culture.
