Notes of banana, anise, and ripe pineapple run through this daiginjo, made from Yamada Nishiki rice polished to fifty percent with water drawn from Kyoto's Fushimi district. Added brewing alcohol lends aromatic lift, carrying through to a full bodied, velvety finish.
