Description
Named for Uwajima's famous ox-demon festival, this sake from Meimon Sakai in Ehime was established through a 1971 merger of three southern Iyo breweries with roots traceable to 1592. It is brewed with soft water from the water-rich Ainan district and presents a clean, lightly dry character suited to everyday drinking.

The company was founded in Bunroku, which is more than 400 years since now (1592). In Kyoto, Mr. Toba founded "Kushiroya".
From Kyoto, he entered Uwajima, a merchant of Date Hidemune, and established the "Toba Joya Naming Company", the predecessor of the prestigious Sakai. Start the sake brewing business. Currently, there are many fruit wine developments.
