Description
Fukuokoshi (Fortune Rising) from Fujimura Shuzo, founded in 1863 in Shimoichi-cho at the gateway to Yoshino's cedar forests and famous cherry blossom mountains in Nara Prefecture, is one of three brands at this long-established regional brewery. Drawing on the pure mountain water and cool highland air of inland Yoshino, it reflects the quiet, unhurried craft of sake-making in one of Japan's most scenic and historically significant mountainous regions.
