Dai306hikotai Karakuchi Honjozo is a tribute to the Japan Air Self-Defense Force's 306th Tactical Fighter Squadron stationed at Komatsu Air Base, located in the same city as Nishide Shuzo. The brewery uses ultra-soft well water at 15 to 20 ppm hardness, which imparts a particularly gentle mouthfeel characteristic of its lineup.
