Buko is produced in Chichibu, Saitama, where the brewing water is drawn from the aquifer beneath Mt. Buko, a source selected for the national Heisei Meisui Hyakunsen list. The medium-hard water contributes a clean, slightly firm character typical of the Chichibu house style.
