Description
Benibanayajube is named for the safflower merchant Yajube, the ancestor of Furusawa Shuzo's founding family in Sagae, Yamagata. Founded in 1836, the brewery traces its roots to the prosperous benibana (safflower) trade that made Sagae wealthy, and this sake carries the warm, golden character of that storied heritage.
