Hizoumeshu is a carefully aged plum liqueur from Kyowa Shuzo in Tobe-cho, Ehime Prefecture, produced using locally harvested Shichiorikume ume plums without artificial coloring, flavoring, or preservatives. Patient cellaring in the brewery's cellar deepens the natural plum sweetness and softens the acidity into a mellow, honeyed finish.
