Amabuki Pink Lady is brewed with yeast extracted from strawberry flowers and uses ancient black rice, which gives the sake its characteristic rosé hue and contributes a subtle, berry-tinged aromatic profile. Amabuki Shuzo in Saga has spent more than two decades developing proprietary flower yeasts, and the Pink Lady line represents one of the brewery's most visually distinctive expressions. The soft water of the Sefuri Mountains and pesticide-free Saga plain rice grown through aigamo duck-farming support the delicate, rose-tinted fermentation.
