Le Sawamasamune Junmai Ginjo Dewanosato est brassé avec du riz de la région Dewa (ancien nom de Yamagata/Akita), en hommage au patrimoine agricole des hauts plateaux du Tohoku. Furusawa Shuzo à Sagae, fondée par des marchands de carthame en 1836, produit un junmai ginjo limpide et équilibré selon les exigences de l'IGP Yamagata.
