Hibabijin Honjozo est produit par Hibabijin Shuzo à Shobara, dans la préfecture de Hiroshima, nommé d'après le pittoresque massif montagneux de Hiba dans les hautes terres de Chugoku. En tant que honjozo, un ajout mesuré d'alcool distillé rehausse l'arôme et affine la finale, produisant un sake net et polyvalent, adapté à la fois au service chaud et frais.
