Fundada en 1877 (Meiji 10). Situada en el corazón de la ruta del algodón, la destilería utiliza agua de manantial local como agua de elaboración. El arroz de sake proviene de Oku-Izumo e Hyogo, y el sake Yamasan Masamune se elabora gracias al saber hacer de Izumo Mori. Todo el koji se hace a mano. El maestro cervecero reside alrededor de seis meses al año y dedica su atención a los mostos.
