El Josen Nori Hissho honjozo de Kuramitsu Shuzo se elabora en la única cervecería de sake que queda en la ciudad de Oita, fundada en 1864, con agua subterránea del río Ono. Este honjozo sigue la tradición artesanal de producción en pequeños lotes de la cervecería, desarrollada a lo largo de cuatro generaciones.
