Una versión koshu del Daiginjo Sara de Kuramitsu mantiene la misma base de agua del río Ono y levadura de alto contenido en ésteres que la edición estándar, enriquecida mediante una crianza prolongada en bodega. Kuramitsu es la única cervecería de sake que sigue activa en la ciudad de Oita, fundada en 1864, y envejece una parte de su expresión premium Sara para desarrollar complejidad adicional.
