Un honjozo de una cervecería de Niigata fundada en 1866, ubicada en una duna costera cerca del Mar de Japón. El estilo Katafune se distingue en Niigata por su dulzura rica y redondeada equilibrada por un final limpio, en contraste con la norma ligera y seca de la región. El agua de elaboración es agua subterránea natural filtrada a través de dunas de arena. Recomendado caliente para realzar la dulzura del arroz.
