En Uonuma, una región conocida por sus abundantes nevadas, el almacén de frío 'Yukimuro', transmitido desde tiempos antiguos, se utiliza en el proceso de elaboración, y el sake madura en un almacén que conserva grandes cantidades de nieve. La temperatura de unos 3 grados se mantiene estable gracias a la nieve. Un sake que ha ganado suavidad tras tres años en este entorno.
