Eine koshu-Version des Daiginjo Sara von Kuramitsu trägt dieselbe Grundlage aus Ono-Flusswasser und esterreicher Hefe wie die Standardabfüllung, vertieft durch längere Kellerreifung. Kuramitsu ist die einzig verbliebene sake-Brauerei in Oita City, gegründet 1864, und lässt einen Teil ihres Premium-Sara-Ausdrucks länger reifen, um zusätzliche Komplexität zu entwickeln.
