History
1920
Founded (Taisho 9) by first-generation Hikogoro Kobori together with more than 50 shareholders, with the aim of developing demand for rice and creating a local sake.
2011
On October 28, the brewery's building complex was registered as a National Tangible Cultural Property.
2012
On January 29, a commemorative ceremony was held for the Tangible Cultural Property registration.
2026
From June 1, business was suspended (manufacturing, shipping, brewery tours, and shop sales all halted) for major renovation work on the aging main building and brewing house.
