- 1873In Meiji 6 (1873), the brewery took over sake production entrusted by the lord of the Kasama domain (the Makino family), who bestowed the brand name "Nihabayama Matsumidori" together with a poem.
- 2002In Heisei 14 (2002), to celebrate the succession ceremony of the fourth-generation kabuki actor Onoe Shoroku, a sake barrel was displayed in front of the Kabuki-za theatre and served as commemorative sake.
