History
1818
Founded in 1818 (Bunsei 1).
1899
In March 1899 (Meiji 32), the brewery built the storehouse that still serves as its main brewing building today.
1955
In 1955 (Showa 30), sake brewing was revived with a toji invited from Niigata, after suspending sake production during the war and resuming with shochu afterward.
1996
In 1996 (Heisei 8), the brewery switched to self-directed brewing, with the company president also serving as toji.
