Sake Brand
Yuuraku
Azumamine Shuzoten, founded in 1781 in Shiwa Town, Iwate Prefecture, produces Yuuraku as one of its core brands from an annual output of around 500 koku — a small scale that allows close attention to every step of the process. The brewery aims for sake that reflects the character of Iwate's land and rice, using locally grown grain and keeping total output limited to maintain quality. The Yuuraku range includes junmai and junmai ginjo expressions distinguished by gentle sweetness and a clean, well-defined finish.
