Setsugoro is the small-batch label produced inside Kikusui Sake Co.'s dedicated Setsugoro Brewery in Niigata, named after the company's founder and certified as Japan's first organic sake-brewing space. Relying entirely on traditional handcraft without automated equipment, the micro-brewery has earned gold prizes multiple times at Japan's most authoritative sake competitions and also serves as a training ground for master brewers within the larger Kikusui organization.
