Seitoku

Seitoku Meijo was born in 1959 when four sake breweries in the Tomioka area of Gunma Prefecture merged; the name Seitoku was chosen by the chief priest of a local shrine, inspired by Prince Shotoku's principle that 'harmony is the most precious.' Located in Kanra Town, the brewery produces sake using hand-crafted ginjo techniques alongside careful temperature control, aiming for a clean, never-tiring taste that suits both everyday meals and special occasions. The brand has accumulated 17 gold awards at the All Japan Sake Appraisal, 10 consecutive gold awards in the USA competition's daiginjo category, and the highest trophy at the 2017 IWC.
