Musashitsuru Brewery was founded in 1819 in Ogawa Town, Saitama Prefecture, drawing on the clear water and cold winters of the Hiki Basin to produce its namesake sake. The brewery has earned top rankings at the Kanto Shinetsu Regional Tax Bureau sake appraisal competition, with a record of first-place finishes since the 1970s. Its lineup spans from pure rice junmai to fragrant daiginjo, with the brewery also known for its narazuke pickles made from high-quality sake lees.
