Kuzuryu is the food-forward companion label to Kokuryu from Kokuryu Sake Brewing, founded in 1804 in Eiheiji Town, Fukui Prefecture, a brewery whose name references the ancient name of the Kuzuryu River. While Kokuryu focuses on premium prestige bottles, Kuzuryu was developed to be an everyday sake built for warming, pairing well with Fukui's rich regional ingredients, and using locally grown Fukui rice.
