Komagura is the flagship brand of Mori no Kura, founded in 1898 and located in the Chikugo region of Fukuoka Prefecture, a brewery that relocated in 1920 specifically for the quality of the water rising naturally from beneath the site. The brewery produces only junmai sake, using contract-farmed local rice and soft groundwater under the guidance of a toji from the Mizuma guild, with Komagura conceived from the outset to pair with the wide diversity of modern cuisine.
