Sake Brand
Kinryu
Kinryu is a brand brewed at Ichinokura's second brewery, established in 1862 in Kuriyama, Miyagi Prefecture, where the name 'Golden Dragon' draws on the local place name and a traditional water deity. Ichinokura's brewers carry on the South Buzen toji tradition, producing ginjo sake through cold-weather, small-batch brewing with hands-on koji work using the box koji method. The Kinryu Special Junmai Aged Namazake is notable for roughly four months of low-temperature aging, yielding a fresh, apple-tinged fragrance with a deep, mild finish.
