Honjozo produzido em Heisei 10 (1998) e posteriormente envelhecido como sake vintage na Suifu Meijo, na Prefeitura de Ibaraki. O envelhecimento prolongado aprofundou a doçura derivada do arroz e a complexidade de aminoácidos, transformando-o em um sake antigo rico, de tom âmbar.
