A tokubetsu junmai from this Nagaoka brewery, named for the castle town of Nagaoka (known as Kabuto-jo) and the snow country of Echigo. The Yuki Kabuto line is characterized by fresh, apple-tinged aromas, a gentle sweetness, and a clean, approachable profile.

Founded for the Ansei period (late Edo period). In the Taisho era, a red brick -made Okura, which can be stored from alcohol preparation, and a hexagonal chimney with a height of 20 meters, which is rare in the country. In 2007, the valuable construction method, historical and cultural value was recognized and registered as a registered tangible cultural property of the country. Currently, the sake brewery is working on handmade sake brewing, led by young brewers.
