Tokuwaka

Tokuwaka is the flagship label of Bandai Osawa Brewing in Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture, one of the five famous sake-brewing districts of Nada. The brewery name, derived from the celebratory phrase 'Tokuwaka ni go-banzai,' wishes for eternal youth and flourishing, and the sake reflects this philosophy with a focused, undiluted character: all Tokuwaka expressions are released as genshu, unfiltered or minimally filtered, with no added water. Clean water from the Nada district and the brewery's artisan approach produce a sake of concentrated character and honest, direct flavor.
