Toyo Nishiki rice polished to 80% is aged in a cedar taru (barrel) in this shizenshu taruzake from Niida Honke in Koriyama, Fukushima. The natural farming rice and cedar barrel maturation impart a distinctive woodsy fragrance and earthy richness to this low-milled junmai.
